Robust Dust Dip/Spread

A bold, smoky spread with just the right amount of kick — perfect for sandwiches, grilled meats, salads, charcuterie platters, French fries, or veggie plates.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream

  • ½ to 1 tablespoon Abraham’s Robust Dust (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or 4 Tbsp if not using sour cream)

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream (optional, for a creamier texture)

  • Fresh lime juice, to taste (optional)

  • Optional Garnish: Lime wedge, sprinkle of Robust Dust, or a sprig of fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Steep the spice: In a small bowl, combine the heavy cream with ½ to 1 tablespoon of Abraham’s Robust Dust. Stir in and let it sit for 3–5 minutes to allow the spices to "steep" and release their deep, smoky flavors.

  2. Mix the base: Add the mayonnaise and sour cream (if using) to the bowl and mix until smooth and well combined.

    • For an aioli-style spread, skip the sour cream and stick with just mayonnaise.

  3. Balance with acid: Squeeze in a bit of fresh lime juice to brighten the flavor and balance the heat.

  4. Finish and serve: Mix thoroughly. Garnish with a lime wedge, a light dusting of Robust Dust, or a sprig of cilantro.

*If you prepare this the night before, the flavors will have more time to marry, and your Robust Dip will be most flavorful.
